Designed for the beginner photographer, the point-and-shoot Fujifilm FinePix A100 has a 10 megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom. Perfect for the amateur who doesn't want complex settings to worry about.

Despite being a low-end compact digital camera, the Fujifilm A100 still features many features you find on more expensive models such as face detection and red eye removal. This helps achieve great portrait shots by detecting up to six faces in the shot and optimising exposure and focus around those faces. The red eye removal feature will hide the affects of red eye with clever post shot processing technology.

There are 14 preset modes to choose from, depending on your environment. This helps the FinePix A100 adjust the exposure, white balance and shutter speed to be perfect for the current ambient conditions.

Although the Fujifilm FinePix A100 doesn't feature a image stabiliser, it does have a picture stabiliser mode. When selected, the shutter speed is minimised and ISO sensitivity is maximised, for better capturing of fast moving objects. This is ideal for sports photography, or for reducing the affects of handshake when taking the photo.

The 10 megapixel image capture capability featured on the FinePix A100 means you can snap huge photos which can later be enlarged up to poster size without noticeable quality loss. The 2.7 inch LCD lets you preview your shots, and features a micro thumbnail view to see 100 shots on screen at the same time.

The A100 takes standard AA batteries, this makes them easy to replace when on the move.
