The FinePix A150 from Fujifilm has an impressive 10 megapixel image capture capability together with a 3x optical zoom. This makes the A150 one of the best value-for-money compact cameras available on the market today.
With a 3 inch LCD display, the Fujifilm FinePix A150 makes it easy to preview photos and navigate through the cameras settings. There is a micro thumbnail view to display 100 images on the LCD screen at once, great for quickly finding the pictures you want to show your friends.
Portrait shooting is optimised for the best possible results using the FinePix A150. It features a face detection mode which will identify up to 6 faces in the frame and adjust the camera settings to best capture their portraits. Furthermore, the Fujifilm A150 has a red-eye removal feature, this automatically removes the affects of red-eye by processing the image once the photo has been taken.
The Fujifilm A150 also features a picture stabilisation mode to ensure minimal blur when shooting moving objects. This will also reduce the affects of handshake by increasing the ISO sensitivity and reducing the shutter speed.
There are 15 shooting modes to choose from on the Fujifilm FinePix A150, these include: Portrait, Landscape, Sport, Night, Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Beach, Museum, Party, Flower, Text, Baby, Anti-blur, Natural Light and Movie. Each mode will optimise the cameras settings in terms of white balance, exposure, shutter speed and face detection to capture the perfect image for the specific environment.
For convenience, the A150 takes standard AA batteries, this has the advantage of being easily replaceable if you're out and about when your batteries run low.
