There is a 2.7 inch LCD screen on each Fuji FinePix F100fd, which Fujifilm claim to be scratch resistant. The LCD also detects ambient light and adjusts the brightness accordingly, ensuring no extra battery usage in dark conditions, and maximum visibility in bright outdoor surroundings.
If you enjoy snapping friends and family, the Fuji F100fd has excellent face detection and red-eye removal systems. It can detect up to 10 faces in the frame, as quickly as 0.035 seconds. Furthermore, it doesn't matter if the faces are tilted or turned, Fujifilm claim the technology will still identify the faces and then optimise the focus and exposure for great results.
There is also a dual image stabilisation mode on the Fujifilm FinePix F100fd, so you can say goodbye to blurred images once and for all. The optical image stabiliser is combined with high ISO sensitivities for total anti-blur protection caused by either subject movement or handshake.
If you are unsure about when and when not to use the flash, the FinePix F100 fd features a dual shoot mode. When selected, the camera will take two shots in quick succession, one with and one without the flash. You can then compare the images side by side and save the preferred shot.
As with most digital compact cameras, there are a range of preset scene modes to choose from on the F100fd. This makes for easy point and shoot operation, as the camera will change the white balance, exposure, shutter speed and ISO sensitivities in order to best capture the photo.
