A budget digital camera for the beginner photographer is a good way to describe the Fujifilm FinePix J10. The 8.2 megapixel CCD sensor is powerful enough to capture quality shots, and the 3x optical zoom provides some good close-up shooting capability.
On each Fujifilm FinePix J10, there is a high resolution 2.5 inch LCD screen with a durable scratch free surface. In addition, the menus and control settings have a simple layout, making the Fujifilm J10 one of the easiest compacts to use. There are on-screen explanations for each shooting mode and scene selection, Fujifilm claim that even young children should be able to operate this camera.
The FinePix J10 features an anti-blur system for avoiding unwanted motion blur on images, especially in low light conditions, or when shooting fast moving objects. The J10 will increase the ISO sensitivity and decrease the shutter speed to ensure crisp images.
There are 14 scenes to choose from when shooting a picture, this will adjust the FinePix J10 to capture the best possible shot so you don't have to worry about manual controls. Simply point and shoot.
If videos are your thing, then the Fujifilm FinePix J10 doesn't disappoint. It can capture in 640 x 320 pixels or 320 x 240 pixels at 30 frames per second, with monaural sound. It should be noted that the zoom function cannot be used when recording movies.
For group shots, the J10 features a self-timer. You can select either 2 seconds or 10 seconds, depending on how fast you can run, to get in shot.
