Excellent for snapping poster sized images and great for getting up close and personal with the powerful zoom. Furthermore, the FinePix J250 has a wide angle (28mm equivalent) lens to capture more of the moment.

There's a large 3 inch LCD display on the FinePix J250, making menu navigation and image previewing clear. There is a micro thumbnail feature which allows you to display up to 100 images on the LCD at once. Also, with ISO3200 the Fujifilm J250 gives great low-light performance at 3 megapixels.

You don't need to worry about settings too much with the FinePix J250. It features automatic scene detection technology which will detect the ambient conditions and automatically choose one of six scenes including: Portrait, Macro, Landscape, Night, Backlit Portrait and Night Portrait. When you take the shot, the camera has already optimised the settings for best possible results every time.

The Fujifilm FinePix J250 also has what Fuji call dual image stabilisation. Basically it combines an optical image stabiliser, with high ISO sensitivities, to give efficient blur reduction in low light conditions, or when using the maximum zoom.

Focus, exposure and white balance are automatically adjusted when taking portrait shots, using the FinePix J250 face detection feature. It works in an instant and can detect up to 10 faces in the shot.
