The ultra slim, ultra sleek Fujifilm FinePix Z200fd has an impressive 5x optical zoom for distinct close up shots without quality loss, and a respectable 10 megapixel CCD sensor for capturing poster-sized images perfect for cropping.
The unique sliding lens cover is smart and compact, helping keep an overall slim shape. The Fuji Finepix Z200 is so slim in fact, you'll hardly notice it resting in your shirt pocket. But don't think the small design compromises the technology. There's still a lot of features packed into the Z200fd.
A high resolution 2.7 inch LCD featured on the Fujifilm FinePix Z200 fd will automatically adjust its brightness depending on current ambient conditions. This ensures good visibility in bright conditions, and saves the battery when in dark environments.
Great portrait shots are easily achieved using the FinePix Z200fd. Face detection technology highlights up to 10 faces in the frame and optimises exposure and white balance for great results. The Fuji Z200 fd also features red-eye correction, helping reduce the unwanted effects of red eye in the shot.
The Fujifilm Z200fd has a collection of different self timer modes including couple timer, group timer and delayed timer. Couple timer will only take the shot once two faces are close together in the frame, where as group timer lets you specify the number of people in the shot and delay the photo until that number of faces are detected, ensuring you never miss anyone out.
Intelligent flash mode featured on the Fuji Z200 fd will quickly take two shots together, one with the flash and one without. The images can then be compared side by side. This is great for when a decision on using the flash is needed.
Motion blur which might be experienced on some older digital cameras, is basically eradicated on the Fujifilm Z200fd. It has a built in image stabiliser which will automatically compensate for handshake. Together with a high sensitivity mode which increases the ISO levels to better capture moving objects.
There are 16 scene modes in total, to choose from including Auto, Manulka, Movie. SP: Natural Light, Natural Light& with Flash, Portrait , Landscape, Sport, Night, Fireworks, Sunset, Snow, Beach, Underwater, Museum, Party, Flower, Text and Auction. White balance, focus, exposure, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity are all adjusted on the FinePix Z200fd, depending on the scene you select.
