There is no manual control on the FinePix Z20fd, all functions are automated, making it ideal for simple, fun, photography. You hardly notice it sitting in your pocket, at just 18.8mm thick it's one of the slimmest compact digital cameras currently on the market.

Great portrait shots are possible with the FinePix Z20fd, it has face detection which finds faces in the shot and optimises the exposure and focus to best capture people. Although there is no true red-eye correction, the Z20fd does have on-camera red-eye reduction to remove the effects of red-eye after the shot has been taken.

The 2.5 inch LCD screen has 150,000 pixels and lets you preview up to 100 images on the same screen at once using the micro thumbnail view, although they do look rather small on a 10 x 10 grid.

In addition, the FinePix Z20fd makes it easy to share your pictures with fast, easy wireless transfer of images between cameras using IrSimple.

You can record your own movies using the Fujifilm FinePix Z20fd, at 640 X 480 pixels and 30 frames/sec or 320 X 240 pixels at 30 frames/sec.

There are 14 scene modes to select from, to best optimise your photo for the current environment. These include Snow, Night, Beach and Party.
