The 10 megapixel, 3x optical zoom, Fujifilm FinePix Z30 is designed to be fun, stylish and modern, with many web-friendly features such as easy uploading to social network sites.
The Fujifilm FinePix Z30 is available in 4 funky colours including pink, white, black and orange, so you are sure to find a design which suits your taste. Furthermore, the shell is designed to be very unique when compared to most other compact digital cameras, with smooth curves and a sliding lens cover.
For easy navigation and great visibility, the 2.7 inch LCD screen featured on the back of the FinePix Z30 makes composing and viewing your pictures simple. You can use the micro thumbnail view which displays up to 100 images on the screen at once, although they are quite small on a 10 x 10 grid.
If you're into social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, then the Fujifilm FinePix Z30 has some smart features which might appeal to you. It basically makes it easy to upload and share your photos with the blog mode. It resizes images in-camera and instantly uploads them for your friends to see.
The FinePix Z30 isn't all about cool design and modern web based features though, it's also got some good technology built in to produce excellent shots. There's a group timer mode which is very straight forward to use. Simply tell the FinePix Z30 how many people are going to be in the shot, and it only takes the photo when that many faces have been detected with its face detection technology. Focus, exposure and white balance are all adjusted to optimise the image for the faces.
There's also a range of scene modes to choose from, further optimising the Z30's settings for the current environment, an anti-blur mode which increases ISO sensitivity and reduces shutter speed to stop the effects of motion blur, and there's even some in-camera image editing modes, making it possible to crop and rotate images before uploading.
