The fun and compact 10.1 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC FS7 makes taking photos easy with its point and shoot operation. It will detect current ambient conditions and adjust several settings to make sure you get the best possible picture.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC FS7 will sense for camera or object shake so the optical image stabiliser can compensate, to reduce blurring. Furthermore, the DMCFS7 has red eye correction and face detection with auto focus and auto exposure modes, to take perfect portrait shots. Although there is no full manual control, there are preset manual scenes to choose from, including: Scenery, Sports, Night Scenery, Food, Party, Candle Light, Pet, Sunset, High sensitivity, / Hi-Speed Burst, Flash Burst, Starry Sky, Fireworks, Beach, Snow, / Aerial photo, Film Grain and Photo Frame.
With a f/2.8 bright LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens, the Lumix DMC FS7 captures excellent shots even in low light conditions. There is a 4x optical plus 4x digital zoom which is pretty standard on most compact digital cameras.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC FS7 does boast a very long battery life. Apparently able to capture as many as 360 images per charge, making it one of the longest living cameras available on the current digital compact market.
In addition, as with all Lumix models, the Panasonic DMC FS7 hosts a 2.7 inch LCD screen which automatically adjusts its brightness according to surrounding light levels. Ensuring you can always see the display in bright conditions, and preventing unwanted battery usage during low light conditions.
