Ultra slim at just 16.6mm deep, the Samsung ST50 has an impressive 12.2 megapixels and 3x optical zoom crammed into its compact body. One of the slimmest digital compact cameras currently on the market, the Samsung ST50 will fit easily into your pocket or handbag and you'll hardly notice it's there.
With a 2.7 inch LCD screen the Samsung ST 50 makes menu navigation and image previewing easy. 230,000 pixels ensure you capture excellent shots every time.
The Samsung ST50 also features a smart auto mode. When selected the camera will do all the hard work for you and automatically adjust focus, exposure, shutter speed, white balance and flash settings to optimise the image for your current environment. This scene recognition technology is perfect for hassle free point-and-shoot photography.
For portrait photos, the Samsung ST50 has standard face detection, red-eye correction, together with a beauty mode. This is a playback retouch feature which reduces wrinkles and improves skin tones.
There is a digital image stabiliser for blur free photography, especially when using the zoom or in low light conditions. Also, the Samsung ST50 lets you record movies in 640x480 resolutions at 30fps and 15fps, or 320x240 at 30fps and 15fps.
You can adjust the exposure compensation manually for taking bright snowy scenes, or capturing dark objects against bright backgrounds. Furthermore, the Samsung ST50 also features a rechargeable battery and comes complete with battery charger.
